Pensacola Catholic High School Student Life Center

Build consecutively alongside the CHS Student Fitness Center in 2019 and 2020, this 7,700 Square Foot seamless addition added a new dining hall to the existing campus, including a new kitchen, faculty dining area, and meeting space. Custom large span trusses were used to create a massive volume within the space, along with floor to ceiling glazing that allows for Northern light to stretch throughout the dining areas.

“Bear General Contractors recently completed multi-million dollar projects which included a new fitness Center and Student Life Center at Pensacola Catholic High School. Bear’s time management and well-organized team have led to successful builds with minimal delays and minimal cost increase when issues arose while renovating old facilities. Being the project architect, I appreciated their efforts with this complex project and maintaining quality workmanship while controlling costs.

The result of Bear’s work ethic are facilities the students at C.H.S. will enjoy for years to come. I highly recommend without fear or hesitation Bear General Contractors for similar projects, and I look forward to working with them again.”

– Daniel Grundhoefer AIA, Quina Grundhoefer Architects

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Bear Construction. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to communicate with. I have enjoyed working with Gary Morgan, he really knows his stuff and is on top of everything at the job site.”

– Matt Adams, Head of Facilities, Catholic High School

“I know you have already invested a lot in our project, and we are grateful! All the former major projects we have done with an outside contractor. To me, it was a great blessing to work with people you knew well and knew to be people of integrity and excellence. Now, I know that I can feel the same way about our contractor for these projects! We look forward very much to working with you and to seeing these great blessings for CHS come into being!”

– Sister Kierstin Martin, Principal, Catholic High School
